Strengthening Roots: How Kisanwala Supported Market Hub Partners to bridge the Digital AI Drive

Empowering local partners and engaging farmers through community-driven events across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh

Bringing the Agri Market Online—One Village at a Time

In today’s changing farming world, support is not only for farmers—Market Hubs also play a big role in helping farmers with the right inputs and advice. To help them go digital, Kisanwala started an onboarding campaign last year to bring Market Hubs into the e-commerce system, while keeping their local connection alive.

Kisanwala reached more farmers across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh by doing field visits, farmer meetings, and agri-network promotions—partnering with 13+ Market Hubs to build a stronger, digital farming network.

Partner Onboarding

Onboarding: A Supportive Platform for Market Hub Partners:

To support market hubs and increase their presence, Kisanwala provided:

  • Our Kisanwala team managed outreach and helped in answering farmers’ queries.

  • Wall paintings and promotional standees at Market Hub shopfronts to catch farmers’ attention.

  • Pamphlet distribution and offline branding support, giving a feel of a digital haat (marketplace) right at the farmer’s doorstep.

  • Gift bags were given for each purchase made from Kisanwala Market Hub partners.

At the same time, Kisanwala also organised Field Days and Farmer Meets, where farmers got to interact with the Kisanwala Advisory Hub, and learn about input selection, disease management, and seasonal advice. These sessions helped in spreading awareness and provided useful learning for farmers.

Leadership and Local Presence:

In several Market Hub meetings, Kisanwala’s CEO and Business team, along with respected local progressive farmer groups, joined together to speak to the farmers. Their presence built a strong sense of trust and encouraged farmers to explore new features and services.

The goal was simple: build trust at the ground level while promoting smarter, easier-to-access farming solutions.

The events were not just informative—they brought real change for many:

“I always bought from my regular shop, but now I know more about what I’m buying. The Kisanwala app helps me make better decisions.” – Farmer, Nalgonda District

“The wall painting and standee outside the shop caught my eye. I walked in out of curiosity, and walked out with knowledge.” – Farmer, East Godavari

The simplicity of the Kisanwala app, along with in-person support, gave farmers the confidence to download, explore, and start using it.

Kisanwala’s onboarding initiative led to real outcomes for both market hub partners and farming communities:

✅ 13 Market Hubs across Telangana & Andhra Pradesh were onboarded to the Kisanwala platform
✅Offline visibility increased with wall paintings, shop branding, and pamphlets
✅Farmer meetings were conducted, educating them about app usage, products, and advisory services
✅Sales and telecalling teams were deployed, offering localised support
✅Hundreds of farmers were reached, and many downloaded and started using the Kisanwala app.

This was not just about numbers—it was about planting the seeds of change where they truly matter.

Looking Ahead: Building on a Strong Foundation:

The success of this campaign has strengthened Kisanwala’s commitment to working closely with both Market Hub partners and farmers. These grassroots activities are helping build a new kind of agri-network—local, digital, and deeply rooted in community relationships.

Here’s what’s next:

📍 Expanding into more villages and districts
📍 Launching seasonal support campaigns for Kharif and Rabi crops
📍 Strengthening the Market Hub ecosystem with better tools, insights, and customer support
